The Western Sydney Airport (WSA) Cargo Project is building a new, 24/7 cargo precinct designed to be a major logistics and freight hub for Australia. Expected to open in 2026, it will significantly increase Sydney’s air cargo capacity by providing up to 75,000 square meters of warehousing, the ability to service eight widebody aircraft at once, and direct highway access to support regional economic growth. The project is also linked to other infrastructure projects like the Western Sydney Freight Line, which will connect the port to this new hub.
